Can I use Wikipedia?

Wikipedia can be a great tool as you begin your research journey.

We often encourage students to use Wikipedia to familiarize themselves with a topic and click on the hyperlinks within the article.

Wikipedia is also a great place to learn search terms that you can plug into our trusted databases.

Because Wikipedia articles are crowd-sourced and ever-changing, they are not to be cited in your paper.
