Stop by Schauffler Library this month to play Black History Month Jeopardy using the familiar-looking game board on the wall near our service desk.
We have six categories, five questions each in escalating amounts, just like in the real game. For those playing with a pal, we even have play money for payouts to determine who wins once the categories are exhausted.
We'll give you a head start. History for $600:
"Known as the 'conscience of Congress,' this civil rights leader was chairman of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) and led the march on 'Bloody Sunday' in Selma, Alabama."
The answer -- or, should we say, the question -- can be found on the flip side of the card itself.
We can't give you Ken Jennings. On the other hand, there are no bothersome buzzers either.
Stop by and see how you do.
