Did you know you can easily access print copies of The Hermonite—and other newspapers as well? In the printer room of Schauffler Library, you will find bound volumes of the student newspapers of Northfield Mount Hermon from throughout the history of the school. Each of the bound volumes holds the papers from one academic year.

Digitized copies of some newspapers are now available to patrons on the NMH network. See below for more information on how to access specific publications.

The Arrangement Authority

These newspapers, produced by and for students, are part of the archives at NMH. And as such, they are included in an Arrangement Authority. This is a hierarchical organization of the vast majority of materials in our care. The newspapers are included in Newspapers and Newsmagazines "series" of the Student Publications "collection." All of the archival materials you view will be organized in the Arrangement Authority in collections and series (and sometimes sub-series) based on what the materials are. This helps to provide archival context to the materials you are viewing!
